Install

How to properly install Photoshop Brushes:

​

Follow these steps to properly install all of your Photoshop Brushes: 

​

1.  Select the file to install and unzip the file.

2.  Put the file in a location with other brushes for easy access.

3.  Open the Brushes panel in Photoshop by going to Window > Brushes.

4.  Click the hamburger menu and select "Import Brushes".

5.  Navigate to where you saved your brushes (.abr) file.

6.  Click on .abr file and click open.

How to properly install Photoshop Actions:

Follow these steps to properly install all of your Photoshop Actions: 

​

  1. Save your action in an easy to find location.

  2. Open Photoshop and make sure your actions palette is visible.

  3. In the top right corner of the actions palette, click on the small box containing 4 horizontal lines.

  4. From the drop down menu select "load Actions".

  5. Go back to where you saved the actions and select the file that ends in ".atn".

  6. Click "Open" and your actions will be loaded into the actions palette until you choose to delete them.
